Grocery List & Class Prep Notes

Makes enough for 2 large servings, or 4 small ones.


  • 2 bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries
  • 1 cup fresh sprouts
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, mint or parsley (optional)


  1. Put the fruit in a food processor, with a small amount (1/4 cup or less) of water (or juice), and puree until it’s smooth. Add the sprouts and fresh herbs (if you want them), and blend again until it’s all combined.
  2. You can also make other flavors if you want – switch the berries for other frozen fruit (mango, pineapple, kiwi, etc), add a tablespoon or so of cocoa powder (with or without the berries), add some vanilla extract, add a drizzle of maple syrup, add some orange or lime zest, add a swirl of peanut/almond/etc butter, stir in some healthy vegan cookie dough.
