Grains And Breakfast

Grains And Breakfast
Heather Nicholds

I put grains and breakfast together because most of the time, my breakfast is centered on whole grains. They give energy and nutrients to support our bodies, and having them for breakfast means we have the nourishment to start our days.

Assignment

I’m showing you breakfasts that are delicious enough to have for a weekend brunch. What I want to see from you in this month’s assignment is how you take the ideas of these breakfasts and make a healthy and yummy breakfast bowl on a weekday. I usually go with rolled oats, or I cook a big batch of whole grains to last me through the week, and then top with some chopped fruit and flax. You can also totally do toast, but I want to see how you incorporate some nutrients and make it filling enough to last you through until lunch.

Then snap a shot and submit it to the Facebook group! You can also submit any of the breakfasts you made this month – I’d love to see what you’re cooking up!
