Garlicky Sauteed Cabbage
Servings: 3 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cabbage, any variety - savoy is really nice
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced or pressed
- 1-2 tsp olive oil
- pinch sea salt, to taste
- pinch black pepper, optional
Instructions
- Chop the cabbage into thin strips.
- Heat a pan to medium-high, then add the garlic and olive oil and saute for 2-3 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Add the cabbage, and sea salt, stirring occasionally until softened.
- Sprinkle with more salt and some pepper if you like, then serve. Also nice sprinkled with slivered almonds.
Notes
You could do this with any other green as well, spinach or chard or bok choy.
