Dreena's Daily Kid-Friendly Green Smoothie

This is a total energy boost and daily nourishment that Dreena Burton makes for herself and her kids to get them going every morning.

Servings: 1 large adult smoothie, plus 3 small kid smoothies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, full bunch
  • 4 cups spinach, about a full small clamshell
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 lemon
  • 1 cup kale, sometimes
  • 1/2 cup mango
  • 2 Tbsp protein powder, Vega - vanilla or tropical

Kiddo "fixes"

  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 1/2 cup mango

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients from the first list in a blender until smooth. Pour out the adult sized smoothies.
  • From what's left, add the kiddo "fixes" and reblend. Divide that between three small cups, served along with the kids' breakfast.
