I created this delicious dish from some sneak peak samples I got for the January Vegan Cuts snack box, which is full of wonderfully healthy snacks to start off your year.

Salted Caramel PB Banana Baked Hemp Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 bag rooibos tea, or your tea of choice
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp salted caramel peanut butter, or a regular nut/seed butter
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds

Instructions

  • Boil some water, and steep the tea in about half a cup of water for about 3 minutes.
  • Pour the steeped tea onto the oats, then stir in the peanut butter, syrup and a sprinkle of sea salt. Top with the banana and put in the oven at 350 degrees F for about 15 min, or until the oats are soft and the banana is slightly browned.
  • Sprinkle with the hemp hearts and enjoy!
