Chai Buckwheat Porridge

Ingredients
- 1 cup buckwheat, untoasted
- 2 bags chai tea
- pinch sea salt
- 3 cups water
- 3 Tbsp flaxseed, ground, or chia seeds
- 1 pear, chopped
- 2 Tbsp dried cranberries
- 2 Tbsp coconut, unsweetened
Instructions
- Put the buckwheat in a pot, and add the tea, water and sea salt, cover and bring it to a boil.
- Once it’s boiling, turn down to low, cover and leave the buckwheat to simmer. Stir occasionally as it cooks, about 30-35 minutes.
- Take it off the heat, and stir in the ground flax seeds. Spoon out a portion into a bowl, and top it with the pear, dried cranberries and coconut - or other fruit and nuts if you prefer.
