Roasted Chickpeas

These are great as a protein-rich snack, or a salad topper to make it more of a meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 15oz can chickpeas
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder, optional
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • pinch black pepper, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F.
  • Toss the chickpeas with the spices, and lay out on a small baking tray.
  • Bake them for 20 minutes, or until lightly crispy. Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Experiment with other flavors to find your favorite mix.
