Hot Matcha Smoothie

Get a matcha boost, in a soft and creamy morning smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder, or 2 bags green tea
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1-2 Tbsp almond butter, or 1/2 cup non-dairy yogurt
  • 1-2 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds, or ground flax

Instructions

  • Boil some water, and whisk the matcha powder in a mug with 1-2 cups water, then pour into a blender. Or use the tea bags, and steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the tea bag and pour the hot tea into a blender.
  • Add everything else to the blender, and puree until smooth.
