Exercise Plan (Cleanse)

Exercise is a great way to cleanse your body, since it stimulates your lymphatic system which is responsible for cleansing your blood. During a cleanse, I usually maintain a base level of activity to keep my body moving. If you don’t usually exercise, now’s a great time to start doing some light activity. If you normally exercise a lot, either dial things back this week or make sure you’re getting extra calories to support your activities.

This is an outline of what I do for exercise through the cleanse week, and I’ve included it in your calendar so you can follow along with me:

  • Day 1: 30 min walk/run, moderate pace
  • Day 2: 20 min yoga session (try this Warming Detox Flow) + tango class for me
  • Day 3: 20 min walk/run, light pace
  • Day 4: 20 min yoga session (try this Qi Detox Flow)
  • Day 5: Either an early morning yoga session or a 20 min walk/run, light pace (try this Rise and Shine Yoga)
  • Day 6: 20 min yoga session (try this Twisting out Negativity & Doubt)
  • Day 7: 30 min walk/run, light pace, plus roller skating practice for me

The yoga sessions above are all free 20 min audio classes from YogaDownload.com. They also have a huge variety of longer video classes, which you can buy on a class-by-class basis or get a membership.
