Michelle's Straw-nana Shake

This is the perfect healthy vegan strawberry milkshake... for hot summer afternoons chilling out with your friends... bonus points if you make it thick enough to eat with a long spoon! The lovely Michelle, who runs World of Vegan and other projects, shares her favorite simple summer smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, peeled and frozen
  • 1 cup strawberries, frozen
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk, more or less, for consistency

Instructions

  • Add as much non-dairy milk as you want, for consistency. Blend until smooth! You may need to stop and shake, or push things down, while blending. This should be super thick, like a milkshake.

Notes

This is a great smoothie to put in popsicle molds and freeze for a summer treat.
Michelle's suggestion if you don't have a powerful blender is to peel and slice your bananas before freezing, so they're easier to blend.
